Frequently Asked Questions About Dog Walking in Seattle
How do I know my dog will be safe on a group off-leash park trip?
Unlike many area pet care companies, we only take small, safe groups of dogs to the off-leash park. We are selective about each individual dog’s personality and compatibility. We add new members to the pack on a trial basis and promise to stay in communication with you about how the trip goes, particularly if we perceive any developing issues. The safety of your dog and our pack is our number one concern.
Can you take care of my pet while I am out of town?
We offer standard 30-minute and 1-hour home visits to all clients, as available. For regular Sarah’s Pet Care clients, overnight pet and home sitting may be available in your home on a case-by-case basis (depending on location, staff availability, and management discretion). We’re sorry, we do not offer boarding services in our own homes.
What time will my dog be picked up?
For private walks/home visits, we require an at least two-hour time frame in which we may arrive (for example, between 11am – 1pm). We may make exceptions and allow a narrower arrival timeframe for puppies who are potty training and for elderly pets or those with medical needs. For our group dog park trips, we request a somewhat more flexible and fluid arrival window, as our route and schedule of pickups and dropoffs can change on a day-to-day basis.
My pet has medical needs. Are we still eligible for your services?
We are happy to administer medications to cooperative pets. Additional fee may apply.
Can I request services and pay online?
